After being knocked down by our 100# Newfoundland dog a few times, I am familiar with how painful that can be. She only knocks me down once a year or so...I can't imagine going through that so many more times. Thank God he didn't charge when you were on the ground!!

All the best for Christmas and 2010!!Tiffany@NOHhttp://www.noordinaryhomestead.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-59128310222500833482009-12-15T11:56:00.638-06:002009-12-15T11:56:00.638-06:00Oh dear, you poor thing. I am a big woman and am usually able to hold my own against the critters. I feel for you and I too am thankful the little ones were in the house. I too am getting older, turned 52 the other day.
Have a wonderful holiday and may God heal you and keep you safe.debbieohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16591676862695285439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-7806248907714670272009-12-14T11:48:59.127-06:002009-12-14T11:48:59.127-06:00Oh no that sounds painful! If you cannot grab his horns, always have a cane or staff with you and put it in front of him when he rams. He is looking for a spar.

Fortunally our sheep are Navajo Churros and have large horns that curl for us to grab. He is a handful, but I have learned where his horns go so does he!

JenniferHumble wifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02823200562312609670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-11324552308186716212009-12-12T20:13:57.258-06:002009-12-12T20:13:57.258-06:00I'm so happy that you weren't more serious...I'm so happy that you weren't more seriously injured. I probably wouldn't have been able to get up after the first hit. May God bless you and your family during this holiday season and may you and you family be safe.Le-Teishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04235637404216356354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-56299669972201257562009-12-11T13:12:03.690-06:002009-12-11T13:12:03.690-06:00WOW!!!
