I can tell you my ...Well I am glad I am not alone! I can tell you my pastor (Church Of Christ), teaches that Saturday is the Sabbath, since Sunday is the first day of the week, and on the seventh day he rested. However, I can tell you that many (most?) people in my church use Saturday as a catch up day for things like yard work, and use Sunday as a day of rest. So I have decided this. I could be way off!!! I think that God just wants us to live our lives for him. I have decided he doesn't want us to split hairs. I think (again I could be so way off....)that if we are living for him, he can overlook some things.

NOW... Don't approve this part of the post! You some months ago left me your number after my beloved started truck driving. Much has happened in my life since then. I got fired from my part-time online message board job after some members of the board (whom I didn't invite to my blog or lead to it) complained about my religious beliefs. I kind of decided you may not want to hear from me. Then I read about you feeling lonely. I feel bad I didn't call. Just decided that well no one likes me and I started to feel lonely as well. If you would like to hear from me, send me the number again. I don't remember what phone you said you have. I have verizon but free long distance on my VOIP if you have a different phone. Email any time. I don't have an autistic one, but do have a trucker hubby!

Scarlett

shilton1@roadrunner.comFRUGAL DAYCARE MOMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12749071509460304546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-42257541004599708892012-03-27T17:23:29.345-05:002012-03-27T17:23:29.345-05:00I wish we could get together and study out these t...I wish we could get together and study out these things. I do listen to a bible teacher who has helped me understand lots of things. His name is Dr. Scott Johnson and if you want to listen just type in your search engine Contending for Truth and click on his name, he does both health and end times and current events type studies. If you type in sabbath you should be able to find a teaching about it.
Debbieodebbieohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16591676862695285439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-74669725004295013992012-03-26T15:16:10.190-05:002012-03-26T15:16:10.190-05:00Here is my "opinion" on what you wrote a...Here is my "opinion" on what you wrote about...under the New Covenant Jesus did repeat all of the 10 Commandments which includes remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. For us, that has always meant Sunday as our day of worship and rest. We try to set that day apart from the other 6 days of the week. Technically, the Jewish Sabbath started at sundown Friday night to sundown Sat. night. I do know many Christians have gone back to observing a Sat. Sabbath, but we just haven't found any scripture to back up that belief. I would be interested to hear your husbands opinion on this also.Greg and Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00971301563589708491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-4911033192236504842012-03-17T10:34:56.454-05:002012-03-17T10:34:56.454-05:00I saw a picture of one recently. Beloved gets home on the weekend, and usually one other night during the week. However that night, he is home for his 10 hour break. So he eats, sleeps and is off again. Those times when he is home for his 36 hour turn around are so special. Even 36 hours isn't much, but we try to make a big deal of it.

You are doing so good on teaching her all the skills she will need later in life. I have had people diss me for trying to teach my daughter sewing and such. Saying I am trying to force her to be a housewife. Nope, not forcing, but want her to be able to make that choice if and when she chooses to. And since everyone says she is my "mini me" she will want to at some point. As will yours I am sure. After she tries truck driving, factory work, office work and all the other things we all try!FRUGAL DAYCARE MOMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12749071509460304546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-25982976287497184732012-02-27T21:04:07.375-06:002012-02-27T21:04:07.375-06:00Your Little Miss sounds like she is having lots of...Your Little Miss sounds like she is having lots of fun! I feel ...It's so funny how people view others. I feel quite the opposite to this woman, and I guess I always pictured you as some elegant graceful gentle movement kind of lady. You can't be expected to collect wood in stilettos! Just because you dress appropriately for a task doesn't make you some kind of gruff blokish gal! And I'm sorry but I've never heard a chicken complain that your not wearing lipstick while your feeding them. Nail polish is unhealthy for your nails.. It doesn't allow them to breath not to mention the chemicals used to make it. And facials that strip the natural oils out of your skin do damage long term. When your 80 looking like your still 50 with beautiful gracefully aged laugh lines from a healthy life style you'll wear them with pride knowing you made this world better for you and your family. This lady with awful comments will have a face filled with no expression from the amount of Botox I'm sure she's already considering using, and fake hair because the amount of products she's put in her hair over the years will have killed her roots. I'm sure she'll look really feminin with her elderly purple dyed hair and 3 inch fake nails riding around in a wheelchair because her hips are distorted from years of heels and tight fitting clothing that cut the circulation off. As a side note, there is nothing I feel more rewarded for then others not believing I can do something because I am a woman. And me doing it anyway. I see you do this in every post, and am so proud to hear about it. You are my hero.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-824212541842333030.post-8718705822457004772012-02-03T16:43:51.330-06:002012-02-03T16:43:51.330-06:00There is a huge difference in being feminine and b...There is a huge difference in being feminine and being prissy.
